Address Validation Service Concepts

Abstract

The purpose of the address validation service is to provide address validation and standardization for an input address. The service will also provide tax relevant information that is appropriate for a given address validation type that the service supports. Address Validation Result data is not saved by the Address Valdiation Web Service, that data needs to be saved using the Customer Web Service.

Operations

Validate Address

Provides the ability to validate an address so that the associated tax jurisdictions can be assigned.
